Type - type of Quality Control - Six Sigma

Type - type of Quality Control - Six Sigma

In general, the method of Quality Control - Six Sigma is divided into two parts, namely DMAIC and DFSS

The division is based on or before the production process already running,

The word "production" above is not only intended to "production goods" but also "production services".

DMAIC

DMAIC is a methodology used to control the quality of a process already underway (already producing good product or service).

The short description:
Define - Define project goals and desires of consumers to be determinants of the object of analysis or specification limits,

Measure - Calculating the object of analysis to determine its capabilities,
Analyze - Analyze, determine the causes of disability, or conclude the results of the "Measure"
Improve - Improve the process by which acauan based on results from the "Analyze"
Control - Control the process that has been repaired with special attention to the causes of defects are already known.

In some cases, DMAIC can be modified into DMAIIC, where "I" The second is to Implement - Implement the revision of the "Improve"

details of these steps are not standardized and adapt to the needs of the wearer, to stay combining analytical tools in accordance with the purpose of analysis.

DFSS

DFSS stands for Design For Six Sigma. Unlike the method DMAIC, DFSS is used to achieve good quality of a process that has not run or new products or services.

Phases or steps of DFSS are not defined by default - almost every company determines its own DFSS'nya steps to adjust to the needs of its own.

Several methods of DFSS:

    DMADV

Define - Define project goals and desires of consumers to be determinants of the object of analysis or specification limits,

Measure - Calculating the object of analysis to determine the required specifications of consumers,
Analyze - Analyze, determine, and conclude the results of the "Measure"
Design - Designing a process or specifications according to customers' needs,
Verify - check, and control the design so it really fit the needs of consumers.

    DMADOV

Define - Define project goals and desires of consumers to be determinants of the object of analysis or specification limits,

Measure - Calculating the object of analysis to determine the required specifications of consumers,
Analyze - Analyze, determine, and conclude the results of the "Measure"
Design - Designing a process or specifications according to customers' needs,

Optimize - Optimize, and simulate the design and its ability to use tools and statistical modeling,

Verify - check, and control the design so it really fit the needs of consumers.

    DCCDI

Define - Define project objectives,
Customer - Analyze customer specifications,
Concept - the project idea was developed, revised, and selected the best for the project,

Design - Design the project design based on ideas that have been selected to meet specifications and business needs of consumers,

Implementation - implement the project design to production processes.

    IDOV

Identify - identify consumer and product specifications required by the consumer,

Design - translating customer needs into the specification of multiple production design, from some of these designs and then selected or (can also) be merged into the best design,

Optimize - Optimize, and simulate the design and its ability to use tools and statistical modeling,

Validate - Make sure the design is made in compliance with the required customer specification.

    DMEDI (introduced by PricewaterhouseCoopers)

Define - Define project goals and desires of consumers to be determinants of the object of analysis or specification limits,

Measure - Calculating the object of analysis to determine the required specifications of consumers,
Explore - to do more analysis in order to get a better understanding of the specification of the required consumer products,

Development - design and develop ideas about the production process based on the results of phase "explore",

Implement - apply the results of the design into the production process.

Once again just a reminder, details of these steps are not standardized and adapt to the needs of the wearer, to stay combining analytical tools in accordance with the purpose of analysis.
